SOFTWARE DEVELOPER KITS (SDKs) FOR MINUTIAE-BASED IDENTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION

IDT's SDKs provide the developer with software libraries for creating customized automated fingerprint verification and identification routines. IDT has three kits available, each focusing on a particular biometric utility. These are LiveScan LSSDK (Image Capture & Quality Control), Verification VSDK (one-to-one match) and Identification ISDK (one-to-many search).

Each SDK package consists of utilities, Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs), configuration files, sample applications and supplemental materials. Useful application and code examples written in Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Visual C++ and Borland C/C++ are included to illustrate utilities and assist the developer with integration. These routines can be copied directly and/or modified for use in an application. Sample fingerprint and photo images are also supplied. Identicator SDKs are available in both 16 and 32 bit formats.

SDK's are complete with a comprehensive Programmer's Guide of detailed specifications and thorough descriptions of each file activity. Identicator has a Technical Support Hotline and e-mail for personal assistance with developer's questions.

Important note to developers

Identicator's SDKs require a signed Software License Agreement. This allows the use of the software on a single computer, and only for the development purposes of integrating the SDK software into the application software. Developers are not granted license to use the software for any other purposes other than interfacing the Identicator Technology software to the application and testing the interface.

Additionally, each end-user copy of a developed application which includes Identicator Technology runtime software, must be licensed. There are different user licenses for verification, identification, quality control and feature extraction. These libraries are referenced as Identicator BioEngines, based on the Identicator Technology End-User Software License Agreement. Other important terms and conditions apply.
